Spring Champagne Wine Tour - Successful as always! — Posted on: 30/03/2011
A&C have been running hugely successful champagne weekends since May 1987, and it was great to see that our clients are as happy as ever with our wonderful champagne wine tours. Indeed the recent tour had clients on the tour who travelled with us back in 1987 and it was good to hear them say that we continue to be as good at offering great champagne weekends now as we were back then. As often is the case on our wine tours, the recent spring champagne weekend came in with 100% ‘Excellent’ client satisfaction ratings AND 25 champagnes tasted….
This 2011 Spring Champagne Tour visited top Champagne Houses including the beautiful chalk crayeres at Champagne Taittinger, who always warmly welcome our clients with a special tasting, Champagne Hatté et Fils, where we learn about the “Special Club” to which the top champagne vigneronnes belong and super-star Champagne Cattier (where clients were so delighted with these superb wines that they collectively spent in excess of 3000 euros on champagnes!) plus a great finale lunch at Champagne Vilmart. As always on an Arblaster & Clarke Champagne weekend each day started with a glass of champagne with breakfast and each evening with our lively, instructive and original comparative champagne tastings.
