Our superb escorted Opera & Wine Tours combine day times spent exploring the vineyards with leisurely lunches at wine estates and evenings attending great Opera. The performances are at world famous venues with very good seats!

In 2012 we are also featuring our long running Verona Opera and Wine, as we do every summer, this includes the most famous Opera Festival in Italy held in Verona’s Roman Arena. It’s worth attending a performance even if you are not a huge Opera fan, to enjoy the spectacle as thousands of people gather excitedly and light their candles as the moon drops behind the stage. The atmosphere makes for an unforgettable experience. There are no early starts on the Italian escorted Opera & Wine holidays and there is time to explore the very beautiful cities that you are staying in.

We are also offering the Puccini Festival as an Independent Opera holiday staying in the best 4* hotel in Lucca on a set date that we have chosen for the three magnificent operas being shown on consecutive nights – so if anyone is keen for a triumvate of great music -it’s achievable!.

Arblaster & Clarke also offer BESPOKE OPERA HOLIDAYS with no wine visits featuring the Classic Italian Opera houses such as La Scala, Milan and La Fenice, Venice. We have access to first category seats and boxes before they come on sale to the general public, as well as tickets to otherwise ‘sold out’ performances, combined with central four star hotels. Bespoke opera breaks are also offered to San Carlo, Naples, Teatro Comunale, Florence and the Staatsopera Vienna. We are also pleased to feature below two independent breaks to La Scala, Milan in October 2010 and February 2011 and for the New Year 2011.
