Wine Merchant Tours

Picture

Arblaster & Clarke Wine Tours are very pleased to organise Wine Tours for the wine trade and have been doing so since 1990 - so have huge experience in working with third party clients. This is important in understanding what you are hoping to gain from the tour or event and in delivering a high standard of service to your customers - whether they be private individuals or trade customers.

We organise many trips for wine merchant's top clients, Livery Company Wine Committees, Private Dining Clubs of leading wine merchants and in the past have organised professional level tours for wine makers, New World wineries, and for Champagne Vignerons and the owners of Champagne Houses.

With over 22 years of experience in organising tours, we can help with the success of your trip and save you the time, bother and cost involved with the design and set up of any such trip. Also, crucially, we are fully financially bonded for your clients financial protection which is actually a legal requirement for anyone accepting payment for travel abroad (often ignored by small wine merchants or wine educators). We are also fully insured, again something that is often over-looked by non-travel professionals offering wine tours.

We know what will be successful (as opposed to just sounding good), we bring a depth of experience to Wine Tours which normal Travel Agents and other non-specialist operators do not have. Also, unlike incoming operators we will understand what you, (and your clients, associates or members) are looking for, not just giving you what the region normally offers. We are, of course, very familiar with the wineries in each area and what can be achieved at most of them.

We can put together any kind of wine event in your chosen region too - so if you wanted to gather a party of your top producers into one venue, we can arrange all the travel and hotel and catering arrangements for your clients, so that you can have a great party with them in the vineyard area of your choice. We can accommodate a group size from 4 to 6 people, to as many as you require; our largest group to date was 160 people.

Arblaster & Clarke work closely with the Wine Trade. We held a very successful wine fair at Vintner's Hall in the City of London earlier this year to which a wide section of the wine trade was invited and this was so successful all round, that we are repeating it on March 4 2010 - there are only a couple of stands still available, so contact us for details if you would like to exhibit.

Many of our friends in the wine industry joined us including Champagnes Taittinger, Philliponnat and Pol Roger; Rapitala, all the way from Sicily, Ascheri from Barolo, Marqués de Cáceres from Rioja, Montes of Chile, Louis Jadot of Burgundy, Penfold’s, Wynn’s Coonawara, Lustau Sherry, Wines of Chile, Wines of Argentina and Wines of Bordeaux.

Leading UK Merchants attending included Laymont & Shaw, Loeb, John Armit, Boutinot, Edward Parker Wines, Stone,Vine & Sun and the Sunday Times Wine Club (for whom we have been organising special trips since 1990).
