Wine Cruise in 2010

Mediterranean wine cruise by Super yacht
Every year Arblaster & Clarke offer a small ship cruise. You visit interesting out of the way places, sail into small harbours to avoid the crowds and stop for impromptu swims along the way. There is always a superb programme of on board tastings with a panoply of wines served with meals on board. There are also wine visits and meals ashore.
We are chartering the fabulous super yacht S.C. Panorama (sister ship of the Pantheon that we used in 2007 and 2005) for our wine cruise from Athens to Malta. The route takes us via the Corinth canal, Cephalonia, Syracuse in Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, the Egadi Islands, Tunis, the island of Pantelleria then Gozo and Malta. See Below.
The party size will be a maximum of 45. As of 22 January 2010 there are no cabins available, however we may have cancellations and cabins can become available up to the last minute. Please call or register your interest on the tour page if you wish to be contacted in this case.
2011 Alternatively if you are looking to cruise next year, we have a fabulous and different cruise of the Galapagos Islands, which will be accompanied by South American wines. Of course, there is no wine worth mentioning in Ecuador, but there is so much to offer from the rest of the continent with Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and fast up and coming Brazil, that tasting all these wines in such a stunning setting seemed too perfect an opportunity to turn down!*Please see below.*
2009 We chartered the Star Clipper, as we have many times before for a Greek Cruise sailing to the Peloponnese, Crete and the Cyclades.
The itinerary included Nafplion (for Nemea), Monemvasia, Crete, Santorini, Samos and Paros, with visits to some of Greece's very best wineries where we tasted many superb wines There were also visits to many of the great sites of antiquity including Athens, Delos, Mycenae and Knossos.
