Walking in the Vineyards of Central Loire
Walk through the vineyards of the Loire with wonderful tastings and pic-nic lunches along the way. The walk starts in Saumur, staying for two nights, then following the Loire River upstream throught the Saumur Champigny vineyards and troglodyte villages.
We will taste Saumur brut and red Touraine. Then on to the medieval town and castle of Chinon on the River Vienne, for two nights. Then stay at a Chateau near Vouvray after visiting the gardens of Villandry, to walk through the vineyards of Montlouis and Vouvray
Walk Rating: Generally easy going, with some longish sections.
