No Club tour would be complete without our incredibly popular visit to La Rioja. This special long weekend gives you the opportunity to sample the true Spanish hospitality for which the great wine region is famous. We start our wine tour with a visit and tasting lunch at the welcoming Bodegas Viña Izadi, whose wines feature in the Fine Wine Selections of the Club.
Our base for this trip is a tranquil converted monastery in the traditional wine town of Haro. From here we enjoy superb wine visits with extensive tastings and leisurely lunches at three wine estates.
You shall taste the wines of Baron de Ley and Izadi, and include Club favourite Martinez Bujanda, who are our long standing wine partners. You shall also discover tasty local dishes including tapas and milk- fed lamb.
